Stepan regularly takes in old shelter dogs, giving them care in their final days — his personal way of making peace with death. He dreams of a quiet passing, even amid the war in Ukraine. But that peace is disrupted by Gogo, a lonely young boy. One night, the two unlikely enemies meet in a cemetery, where they share joints, eat ice cream, and dance.
